How can you play The Management Challenge? 0/2
When integrated quality thinking emerges in the early 90s, quality manager Willem Jan van der Veldt takes the innovative step within his own organization to transform the hitherto usual quality audit into “integral quality thinking”. To this end, he designs a simulation game that contributes to ensuring that all managers in his organization really understand how quality is created. This “implementation” of quality development appears to be a success.
From 1997 onwards, The Management Challenge®, as the game was baptized, became the leading vehicle for Business Improvement Consultancy, the company of Willem Jan, now independent. In the first years the game is still played “stand-alone”; At the beginning of this century the software is fully upgraded to a multi-tasking, multi-language browser version. If The Management Challenge® is transformed into a “do-it-yourself application” in 2015, over 5,500 unique participants have experienced and experienced the educational simulation in the past 20 years.
