How can you play The Management Challenge? 0/2
What do the potential participants learn?
The Management Challenge® can be used for various purposes. The game is set up depending on the learning objectives set. Both in form and content. In practice, the following learning objectives emerge, sometimes individually, but often in conjunction.
Strategic insight into coherence
By doing this, participants also gain insight into the various aspects of managing organizations, in particular the coherence of measures within an organization.
Hunting for results changes to creating results by choosing the right composition of measures. There is a dependence between what you do and what you get.
Through erosion and example algorithms, it becomes clear that consistency in management is just as important as choosing the right measures. A good strategy and following it consistently is of great importance for success in business operations.
Working together in teams
If management teams do not work well together, there will be unrest or at least ambiguity in implementation and therefore less success. The behavior of the teams is tested in the simulation against the drivers of Value Management (Spiral Dynamics).
Participants gain in-depth knowledge of the INK/EFQM management model. This goes much further than knowledge about the 9 fields in general. In particular the connections and other relationships in the model become clear. In addition, the participants learn that the model is not tight, but actually a frame of mind.
